Responsibilities
Develop and execute IM&S sourcing policy and strategy
Ensure Foster and develop a “Suppliers as Partners” philosophy to create supplier relationships built on mutual trust, respect, candor, ethical behavior, and continuous improvement.
Supervise all IM&S sourcing activities.
Maintain and manage IM&S suppliers Responsible for finding and developing World Class suppliers in China mainland.
Work closely with Foton and Cummins East Asia IPO to ensure capable suppliers are selected.
Follow and complete RFQ with right source, TCO analysis, S-Review checklist, price negotiation and support development of sourcing strategy through regular communications with JV and Cummins Purchasing and Engineering Functions.
Ensure suppliers have appropriate quality systems, audit effectiveness, source release processes. Drive supplier corrective action plans. Lead and assist suppliers in Prototype production, APQP and PPAP to achieve SOP milestones.
Regular on-site process audits to drive quality improvement, lean manufacturing, cost reduction and Six Sigma capability.
Co-ordinate materials activities with assembly plant and SMI/warehousing activities to achieve total lowest cost for the engine.
Drive the application and development of purchasing functional excellence to achieve best practices
Position Requirements
Bachelor degree or above.
At least 7 years working experiences in sourcing, preferred in tools, ficilities and equipments, familiar with manufacture process;
With management skills.
Supplier management and contract negotiation skills;
Service mindset, ability and willingness to flexibly meet the customers' needs;
Good written and oral communication skills in both local language and English;
